Overview

After years of continued development and improvement, ESCO is pleased to offer a user-friendly Human Machine Interface (HMI) for managing urethane processing.

ESCOWare works in conjunction with an equipment’s Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) as compared to complicated computer-controlled machines with proprietary driver cards. ESCOware is a user-friendly Microsoft Windows based application, allowing users to adapt readily to it. The software can be customized for both stand-alone multi-component dispensing machines and for complete process systems that include conveyors, cure ovens, and robotic applications. This customization results in minimal down time and increased quality.

ESCOware incorporates the highest level of security to date with its various levels of password protection.

Urethane Processing

Status Screens Display status of process functions, including but not limited to:

  • Agitators
  • Pumps
  • Flows
  • Ratio
  • Pressures
  • Zone temps
  • Refill status
  • Mixer speed
  • Flush mode

Temperature Screens

  • Display all independently controlled temperature zones including set point and status.

Set Points

  • Allow for input and/or changes to all process parameters including various timing commands.

Recipe Screens

  • Allow for storage of process formulations with direct download to PLC.

Deviations Screens

  • Set limit values on process parameters to minimize scrap.

Profile Screens

  • Allow for simple creation of complex profiles on head positioners or robot pour stations.

Alarms/History

  • ESCOWare time dates alarms and requires acknowledgement for early recognition of potential maintenance concerns.

Help Screens

  • Easily displays electrical and mechanical schematics, troubleshooting guides, PM procedures, basic machine operations, spare parts lists, as well as supporting vendor literature.

Service Support

  • A computer ethernet link for real time assessment of machine process data is provided to diminish costly delays and associated travel expenses.

Counters

  • Track and document production mold counts in real time. Display information is also stored and transferred to a data acquisition file.

Data Acquisition

  • ESCOWare formats real time process parameters into an Excel spreadsheet for SPC, SQC, and historical trend analysis. This is a requirement for ISO certification.
